Kristine Reid: Director of Religious Education

Originally from Minnesota, Kristine moved to Lancaster County, PA with her family when she was three. Following high school she spent a year in Denmark as a foreign exchange student and then came to Blacksburg to attend Virginia Tech. She is an honors graduate of Virginia Tech’s College of Human Resources in Management, Housing, and Family Development. Kristine has worked in social services and as office manager for Reid Custom Builders, Inc., her family's custom home building business. She continues to work part time with her husband, Richard Reid, a self-employed contractor and bicycling enthusiast. They have an daughter who is an active participant in our religious education program. As a family, the Reid’s enjoy hosting international students through Virginia Tech’s Cranwell International Center. They also maintain close ties with family and friends in Scandinavia.

Religious Education Committee

The committee meets once a month with the DRE to plan and implement the religious education program.
