Our Ministries

In our congregation ministry is a shared responsibility. While we recognize the training, experience, and skills of our minister, Rev. Christine Brownlie, we know that one person, no matter how dedicated, can’t meet all the needs of our growing congregation. We are fortunate that we have many people in our congregation who offer their skills and talents in the service of the needs of our programs. This concept of shared ministry not only serves the congregation as a whole, but it also gives our friends and members the opportunity to put their talents and skills to use in new and different settings. A professor can sing in the choir, and accountant might teach a children’s Religious Education class program, a computer scientist can be a member of the team that works with our minister to create meaningful and engaging worship services, a teacher could organize our annual Service Auction.

This concept of shared ministry is important to us because it encourages everyone to share in the responsibility for the health and growth of the congregation. We believe that everyone has a gift to offer and every gift of volunteer time is appreciated. Your gifts, talents, and skills might be just what we need as we grow our ministries.
