Yoga at the UUC

A Yoga group meets on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.

One of the best things you can do for yourself this winter is take advantage of the free Yoga group at the Fellowship every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. It usually lasts for 40 to 45 minutes. The leader is UUC member memberLori Tolliver-Jones. You don't need to know anything about Yoga or be athletic or even in shape to do Yoga! Just bring a blanket or mat to cushion yourself from the hardwood floor and wear comfortable clothes.

Yoga basically involves breathing and stretching in a variety of postures. People do Yoga today for various reasons: relaxation, de-stressing, toning, healing, meditation, and a general sense of well being. Try it — it's easy, relaxing, enjoyable. You'll leave feeling glad you came and with more energy for whatever you need to do.
