Annual Congregational Meeting: 2025

Our 2025 Annual Congregational Meeting will be held on Sunday, June 1 at 11:30.

On May 18, 2025, we held a two-platform Informational Meeting, led by Board President Laura Robinson, at which the proposed budget was presented and discussed.

President Laura Robinson will convene the Congregational Meeting, and Daniel Vogler will serve as Parliamentarian using Sturgis's Standard Code of Parliamentary Procedure.

After a quorum is established, the agenda is:

1. Approval of the Minutes from last year's Congregational Meeting;

2. A brief report on Board activities;

3. Congregational vote on the 2025–2026 slate of new board members: Cassy Kost, President-Elect; Carolyn Kogan, Secretary; Helen Renqvist, Member-at-Large; Andy Roberts, Member-at-Large (1-year);

4. Congregational vote on the proposed budget for 2025–-2026. The proposed budget has been circulated to members and is posted on the UUC Finances Webpage. The budget has been revised to reflect the congregation's feedback: 1) increase of pledge income; 2) lower forecast of income for auction and dividends; and 3) increase in "facilities maintenance escrow"; Proposed Budget for FY 2025–2026 [password protected].

For the Congregational Meeting on June 2nd to be held, we must have a quorum of 50% of our total membership either attending the meeting in person or via Zoom or by proxy. If you are unable to attend the Congregational Meeting, please ask a member who can attend to act as your proxy. If the member agrees, send an e-mail Proxy to our Administrator (Jenny Fairchild) and copy the member. This email will serve as your signature to allow a proxy to vote on your behalf. No member can hold more than one proxy.
